NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) - The Charleston County Aviation Authority Police Department escorted a passenger from JetBlue after he allegedly made terroristic threats.
Chad Svatosky, 27, is facing charges of weapons and possession threat or attempted use of mass destruction, according to jail records.
Officers responded to an alleged bomb threat to the JetBlue Sunday at 10:49 a.m. Upon arrival, the flight crews informed them that Svatosky made comments to several passengers before boarding the flight that ‘everybody needed to grab their pitchforks and torches because the plane was going to get lit up.’ Other passengers also reported hearing him say he had a bomb, according to Executive Vice President of the Charleston International Airport Spencer Pryor.
