Dodgers make lineup changes with Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, Will Smith
The Los Angeles Dodgers are making some changes.
Their lineup for Game 5 of the World Series on Wednesday night will not be the same that they trotted out there for the first four games.
At the bottom, Andy Pages is on the bench and Alex Call plays centerfield and bats ninth. That could prove key, of course.
But the big names have also moved around.
Shohei Ohtani remains in the leadoff spot. It's the next three spots behind him that have changed.
Will Smith has moved into the No. 2 slot in the Dodgers' lineup. The catcher had spent the first four games of the series batting fourth.
The previous No. 2 hitter, Mookie Betts, has bumped down one spot. He'll bat third.
