Four adults are facing charges after Lac La Biche RCMP officers partnered with the Eastern Alberta District’s RCMP executed a search warrant at a residence in Beaver Lake Cree Nation last week, seizing several firearms and other items.
Police say during the search of the residence, they located and seized a sawed-off shotgun, 4 replica firearms, an additional firearm, and some ammunition.
Tristan Bradley Campbell, 29, a resident of Long Plain First Nation, Man., was charged with: possession of a loaded firearm, possession of a firearm while prohibited, possession of ammunition while prohibited, and two counts of failure to comply with a release order.
“This investigation resulted in police arresting a prolific offender and removed unsafe firearms from the streets,” said Cpl. Chris Salam
