Gov. Kevin Stitt says state agencies are "working on it" as Oklahomans who rely on government food assistance brace for the potential of weeks without aid.
Stitt said at a news conference on Wednesday, Oct. 29, that federal and state lawmakers, state agencies, churches and nonprofit organizations are collaborating to try to serve the more than 684,000 Oklahomans who rely on the Supplemental Nutrition and Assistance Program to help pay for groceries.
