ICE officer shoots at vehicle during north Phoenix traffic stop

A vehicle stop conducted by an ICE officer evolved into a shooting on Interstate 17 in north Phoenix early on Oct. 29, federal officials said.

Officers for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement conducted a vehicle stop at around 4 a.m. on I-17 near Dove Valley Road, Yasmeen Pitts O'Keefe, a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson, said in an emailed statement.
