ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. —

A large plume of black smoke and flames could be seen at the AA Events and Tents building near Downtown Albuquerque in the northwest.

The smoke and flames could also be near Interstate 40 and Fourth Street, at Arvada Avenue NW. Albuquerque Fire Rescue responded to the fire and declared the fire under control later on Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 29.

Second Street at Arvada has been closed as fire crews continue to work the warehouse fire.

Two people were injured and transported to a hospital, according to AFR. Crews were mopping up efforts to fully control the flames outside the structure.
