FOXBORO -- Drake Maye thinks he can remember floating a pass deep down the field to Kayshon Boutte over a year ago, in his first training camp as a pro, to beat corner Christian Gonzalez.

Flashbacks to the days when Maye and Boutte were working together on the scout team during the young quarterback's rookie season aren't all that hard to conjure, either.

They've banked hours upon hours together on the practice field. Now, in the middle of what has been a torrid first half to the 2025 season for both, it is not hyperbole to say that they are among the most explosive quarterback-receiver duos in the NFL.

"Keep throwing to the guy and he keeps making plays," Maye said. "It's as simple as that."
