The Washington Commanders got a significant boost at the wide receiver position in Week 8 when Terry McLaurin returned from a four-game absence due to a quad injury. Unfortunately, it seems as if McLaurin may have returned too soon, as reports emerged on Wednesday that the two-time Pro Bowler has seemingly suffered a setback.
McLaurin wasted little time showing what he is capable of in his return to play. He was one of the lone bright spots for the Commanders, scoring the team's lone touchdown in their 28-7 loss.
Unfortunately, it was quite apparent right away that McLaurin came into the game at less than 100 percent, playing only 25 of 53 offensive snaps for the Commanders after being deemed questionable to return in the game due to his lingering quad injury.
