NFL execs hoping to land star Browns defensive end Myles Garrett before next week’s trade deadline shouldn’t hold their breath.
With Cleveland sitting in the basement of the AFC North at 2-6, questions have swirled as to whether the franchise’s $160 million defensive playmaker would be moved — a thought a Browns source pushed back on Wednesday to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“No chance,” one source told Schefter , adding, “People have a better chance of winning the lottery.”
In the first year of a four-year, $160 million contract extension signed in March, Garrett has remained a dominant force for the Browns, racking up five sacks alone on Sunday in a 32-13 loss to the Patriots as the offensive woes continued.
