Philosopher Aristotle believed in the golden mean—between two extremes lies perfection. Perhaps, Demi Moore (and her nail artist, Zola Ganzorigt ) are followers of this rule, too, because their latest collaboration, seen at The New Yorker Festival, is exactly that: a beauty version of the golden mean. How could that be possible, you ask? Well it provides both minimalism and drama at the exact same time.

To get the look, Ganzorigt filed Moore's ultra-long nails into square shapes with pointed corners. The square nail—once thought of as a holdover from suburban nail salons—has regained popularity in a variety of lengths after beauty trendestters like Kendall Jenner and Cynthia Erivo sported the look.
