ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- With Election Day less than a week away, Republican candidate for lieutenant governor John Reid made a campaign stop in Albemarle County on Monday as the race tightens.

While recent polls show Democrats maintaining a lead in the governor’s race, the race between Reid and Democrat Ghazala Hashmi remains too close to call. Reid says he’s making his final push to connect with voters before they head to the polls.
