A mum-of-three who was suffering from a chronic c ondition died just six days after a "disturbing" A&E visit. Kellie Montgomery, 37, from Co Down, Northern Ireland died suddenly at home on September 29.
Six days earlier she had attended the Emergency Department at the Ulster Hospital on the advice of her doctor. This was due to the pain she was experiencing as a result of endometriosis , a condition where cells similar to those of the lining of the uterus grow in other parts of the body.
Kellie's partner, John Fletcher said Kellie was told she was being kept in overnight, but ended up being discharged at 2am in "pain and distress". Her family claim they found her waiting outside in the cold when they came to pick her up.
Tragically, just days l
