Winnipeg police are asking for help to find a missing 12-year-old girl.

Bella Cook was last seen on Wednesday around 1:30 p.m. near the intersection of Sargent Avenue and Sherbrook Street, police say.

She's described as five feet six inches tall, with a thin build. She has brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing a grey romper, a white/grey sweater and black Nike shoes, and was carrying a unicorn blanket.

Anyone with information about the girl's whereabouts is asked to call the missing persons unit at 204-986-6250, or Manitoba Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
