A canceled wedding in New England had a happy ending thanks to another bride.

When Brigette Polster's engagement was called off, canceling her wedding venue in Newport, Rhode Island, was devastating.

"It was one of the most difficult things I had to do, hear myself say 'I'm no longer having my wedding,'" she said.

It was only eight months out, and if another bride didn't book the date, she'd lose her deposit the same way she did with the rest of her vendors.

But then came a call.
