STILLWATER — With only four games left to play, Oklahoma State interim coach Doug Meacham says he’s prepared to open the door for “five or six or seven” true freshmen who can play the rest of the season without burning their redshirt status.

Meacham pointed particularly to receiver Matrail Lopez and linebacker Carl’Veon Young among those who could see playing time when OSU visits Kansas at 3 p.m. Saturday in Lawrence, broadcast on ESPN+.
