CINCINNATI, Ohio — With Joe Flacco’s status in serious doubt for Sunday due to a throwing shoulder injury, the Bengals aren’t panicking. Instead, they’re rallying around backup quarterback Jake Browning with what head coach Zac Taylor describes as “full confidence” in his ability to lead the offense if called upon.
“If he’s in there and he gets the opportunity, I have confidence in Jake, that Jake can win us a game,” Taylor told reporters in his Wednesday press conference. “So however it shakes out, we’ll have a great plan in place to help those guys.”
