RADCLIFF, Ky. —

Wednesday marked day 29 of the government shutdown.

As the stalemate continues in Washington D.C., Congressman Brett Guthrie (R-Kentucky) visited Radcliff on Wednesday to learn about the local impact.

More than a dozen people spoke on a panel at the Colvin Community Center, representing groups from Hardin County and Radcliff government, and those who work with Fort Knox families.

One panel member was Amy Grimm, founder of the Warrior Warehouse.

The warehouse ran a food drive for furloughed government workers, soldiers, and their families, and supports people constantly.

"90 people have rolled through that have never said, 'I need' before," said Grimm. "And you know this is food, jackets. They're stressing."
