PITCAIRN, Pa. —
A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with a June shooting in Pitcairn, Allegheny County, that resulted in the deaths of two teenagers.
Police have arrested 16-year-old Jamon Brookins in connection with a shooting that killed two other 16-year-olds, Tyrant Sutton and Isiah McCarthy. Advertisement
Moments after shots rang out on Shaw Alley near Wood Street, Brookins was allegedly seen running to a car and driving away. Officials say a total of six shots were fired.
According to a criminal complaint, Brookins admitted to being in the area for a gun deal and claimed McCarthy grabbed the gun Brookins was pointing at him when it went off.
Sutton then arrived at the scene, and Brookins allegedly punched and shot both Sutton and McCarthy.
