PORTLAND Ore. (KPTV) - All lanes of traffic along the Steel Bridge have been reopened after officers negotiated with a person experiencing a mental health crisis on Wednesday afternoon, according to Portland Police.
TriMet said buses that normally cross the Steel Bridge were diverted to the Burnside Bridge to cross the river.
Additionally, all MAX lines lines were disrupted between Old Town/Chinatown and the Rose Quarter TC. MAX riders have been asked to use buses to cross the river during the disruption in service.
