SALISBURY, Mass. —
Congressman Seth Moulton visited a free grocery store in Salisbury, Massachusetts, Wednesday and called on the Trump Administration to fund a critical food assistance program.
"We're here because Donald Trump has a plan to starve the American people this weekend," Moulton said.
Starting Saturday, the Trump Administration says it won't use contingency funds to pay for SNAP benefits.
"More air traffic controllers and TSA agents, and park rangers are about to go without a paycheck," said House Speaker Mike Johnson (R). "You've got families and children that rely upon SNAP benefits that are going to go hungry here at the end of the week. The Democrats own every one of these consequences."
