Loretta Criswell Falkner, age 93, of Brownwood, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025. Funeral services for Loretta will be held at 2:00PM on Wednesday, November 5, at Cross Plains Church of Christ. Visitation will be held prior to the service. Interment will be held at 12:00PM on Thursday, November 6, at East Hill Cemetery in Fort Stockton, Texas.

Loretta was born on October 15, 1932 to Ada Pearl and Charles Edgar Criswell in Fort Stockton. She married the love of her life, Fred Falkner, on June 2, 1951 in Fort Stockton and they were blessed with 2 children, Ken and Cindy. Loretta worked for Pecos County EMS for a number of years. She enjoyed reading, water skiing, playing tennis and ping pong, and singing hymns at church. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ in Fort St
