PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD) -- Gov. J.B. Pritzker at an unrelated press conference Tuesday said he is looking at ways to support food pantries when the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) pauses on Nov 1.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture came out with a statement saying SNAP benefits will end on Nov. 1. The USDA, currently under President Donald Trump's jurisdiction, said Senate Democrats need to vote on the Republicans continuing resolution to fund the government.
