CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — The battle over redistricting in Virginia is heating up, as Democrats push to redraw congressional lines in an effort to boost their chances in future elections.

Democratic leaders say their proposal is a response to Republican-led states that have already redrawn maps to their advantage.
