On Wednesday, Oct 29 President Droupadi Murmu, the supreme commander of the Indian armed forces, took a sortie in a Rafale fighter jet at the Ambala Airbase.

During the sortie, a photo of President Murmu with Squadron Leader Shivangi Singh — one of India’s first female Rafale pilots — went viral. Earlier, Pakistan had falsely claimed to have captured her during “Operation Sindoor.”

India’s Press Information Bureau quickly dismissed those claims, and now Shivangi’s photo with the President stands as a clear reply to Pakistan’s false propaganda.

However, this wasn’t the only claim Islamabad made during Operation Sindoor. Pakistan made several false claims to cover up India’s military superiority.
