New Heights Christian Academy is headed to the Class 1 state volleyball tournament after winning their first district championship since 2021 on Tuesday night at the New Heights Athletic Complex. The No. 2 seed Cougars defeated the No. 4 Wildcats of Greenfield High School 3-1 in the finals.
NHCA now has three Class 1 district titles in the last six seasons and second-year head coach Christy Hipple talked about what it took for her team to bring another plaque back home. ×
