Manchester City booked their place in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 win over Championship side Swansea City.

The Blues were made to work hard by the home team in South Wales as Goncalo Franco made a much-changed City side come from behind after a lovely opening goal. Jeremy Doku got the visitors level when his shot was deflected in close to half-time.

City dominated the second half but only took the lead with 15 minutes to go when Rayan Cherki's pass through to Omar Marmoush allowed the Egyptian to spring free of his marker and smash in a second before Cherki himself netted a stoppage time third.
