NOVEMBER 3 Meet Kwame in Manteo! NYT best-selling author coming to schools and library

Kwame Mbalia, a #1 New York Times best-selling author, Coretta Scott King Author Honoree and publisher of Freedom Fire, an imprint of devoted to stories about the Black diaspora by Black creators, is coming to Manteo!

Sponsored by Downtown Book’s BAND Fund, Kwame will be visiting all three Dare County Schools in Manteo on November 3 and 4 highlighting his latest release- Jax Freeman and the Tournament of Spirits , book two in the Jax Freeman series.
