The cities of Jersey City and Newark ranked as two of the “Top 20 Cities for Halloween” for the third year in a row, according to an annual survey conducted by WalletHub.

Jersey City ranked No. 2 and Newark ranked No. 10 overall.

Newark moved up in the rankings from last year by one slot from No. 11, while Jersey City remained steady in its No. 2 slot.

The survey also had different categories for the cities to measure “Halloween-friendliness,” such as “Halloween Fun,” “Trick-Or-Treater Friendliness” and “Halloween Weather.”

Jersey City took the top slot once again in “Trick-Or-Treater Friendliness” beating out neighboring New York City, but it ranked close to the bottom in terms of “Halloween Fun.” The city came in at No. 62 in terms of “Halloween Weather.”

Newark also ranked high
