ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The Buffalo Bills announced Wednesday that linebackers Terrel Bernard (ankle) and Matt Milano (pectoral) both practiced in full, marking a positive development for the team’s defense ahead of this week’s preparations.
McDermott also confirmed that wide receiver Gabe Davis took part in his first practice since joining the practice squad.
McDermott said that a few veteran players were given lighter workloads. Defensive end Joey Bosa, linebacker Shaq Thompson (hamstring), and defensive tackle Jordan Phillips were on veteran rest days and participated only in individual drills.
Several other players were held out entirely. Defensive lineman DaQuan Jones (calf), wide receiver Joshua Palmer (knee/ankle), and running back Ray Davis (illness) did not practice on Wednesday
