LUBBOCK, Texas (TTU) - The Red Raiders (10-12, 2-8) downed Arizona (11-9, 5-5) in a quick three-set match on Wednesday night. Texas Tech dominated the match thanks to a season-high.316 hitting percentage and 11 aces.
Kalli Jioshvili Ravva and Kenna McKenzie continued their strong play as Jioshvili Ravva led the team with 18 kills while hitting .333 as McKenzie added 13 kills on a .391 hitting percentage. Reagan Engler and Shelby Ignash combined for nine kills and Addie Kanouff added three of her own to round out the major scorers for Tech.
The setting duo of Peyton Dunn and Katelyn Cochran combined for 37 assists headed by Dunn’s 21. Cochran added seven digs and three aces and Dunn put up six digs and two aces. Sierra Grizzle led the match with 19 digs and had three service aces as fello
