LEWISBURG, WV (WVNS) - Beginning in February 2026, the Greenbrier Valley Airport will be offering a new jet service.

This new service will be provided by American Eagle, operated by SkyWest Airlines. The two new routes will be Chicago O’Hare and Charlotte Douglas International Airports.

Martha Livesay is the airport director for the GBVA. She said this will be a huge step forward for the airport.

“These are major hubs. It will not only promote tourism and business, but it will also open up nation-wide routes for our residents and we look forward to this,” said Livesay.

Livesay explained that in the busier times of the year like spring and summer, there will be 3-to-4 of these flights per day, while in the slower months it may get cut back to once or twice a day.
