YOUNGSTOWN A senior resource program in Youngstown opened its doors to the community on Wednesday for a health fair and fall festival.
Buckeye (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) PACE occupies the space where the former Rite Aid location was, located at 2701 Market Street in Youngstown.
The program aims to help older adults aged 55 and up live safe, healthy and independent lives in their homes, but still have access to care when it is needed most, often at no cost to them.
"Everything that we do is to prevent a hospital visit [or] an emergency room visit, and our job is to keep our folks aging at home where they want to be.
