Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar on Wednesday asked his Congress colleagues not to “strain themselves” by engaging in discussions on the chief minister’s post or the so-called ‘November Revolution’.
“My request is that no one should strain themselves by discussing such things,” Shivakumar told reporters in response to questions on party leaders debating change in leadership and the ‘Dalit CM’ demand.
Meanwhile, Shivakumar, who is also Karnataka Congress president, held a meeting on the selection of candidates for elections next year to the legislative council from west graduates’, southeast graduates’, northeast teachers’ and Bangalore teachers’ constituencies.
