Amid calls from Dallas Cowboys fans to make some moves before the Nov. 4 trade deadline, Jerry Jones has invested more than $1 billion in a significant non-football business.
Coming off a 44-24 blowout loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday, the 3-4-1 Cowboys enter next Monday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals in must-win mode. Unsurprisingly, Dallas’ problem has been a defense that has predictably unraveled since the stunning Micah Parsons blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers.
With the trade deadline looming, Jones has limited time to make the necessary trades to fix a defense that’s allowing 31.3 points per game, the second-most in football. Unfortunately for Cowboys fans, Jones’ latest major business move has nothing to do with improving the roster.
