CACHE COUNTY – In-person voting is already underway in the local municipal elections set for Tuesday, Nov. 4, according to Cache County Clerk Bryson Behm.
Voters began filing into the Cache County Clerk’s office in the County Administration Building on Oct. 28 to early vote for their favorite candidates. The election staff there is standing by from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily through Friday, Oct. 31 to assist local voters.
Behm adds that pre-paid, mail-in ballots can still be returned via the U.S. Postal Service or at 21 convenient drop box locations in municipalities holding elections throughout the county.
Under a recent change to state law, however, USPS postmarks will no longer be accepted as proof of timely ballot submission. For a ballot to be counted in the municipal elections in Utah
