CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) - Two more Eastern Iowa teams are heading to the state tournament in volleyball.

Iowa City Regina took down Sumner-Fredericksburg, 3-0 to win the Class 2A Region 8 championship. It’s Regina’s second-straight appearance at state.

At Benton, Gladbrook-Reinbeck swept Springville, 3-0 to head to state. It’s the Rebels first appearance since 2022. Two of the seniors on this year’s team, were freshman on the last team to clinch a bid.
