INDIANAPOLIS — Eighty-three Hoosiers lost their lives to domestic violence in 2024, according to the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
On Wednesday, families, survivors and supporters came together at the Eiteljorg Museum to remember those lives and raise awareness about prevention.
The Domestic Violence Prevention Network hosted its annual “Remembrance and Resilience” event as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. The evening featured a candlelight vigil, storytelling and artwork by survivors as part of Project HEAL, an initiative to help victims recover through creativity and community.
