CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - West Texas A&M soccer teams had contrasting results in Lone Star Conference action Wednesday, with the men’s team battling to a scoreless draw at Sul Ross State while the women’s team fell 2-1 to Lubbock Christian in a heartbreaking finish at The Pitch.

Men’s team held scoreless in Alpine

The Buffaloes battled to a 0-0 draw with the Sul Ross State Lobos in Alpine, Texas.

Both teams struggled to gain an early advantage in the first half. WT was caught offside three times, highlighting their difficulty breaking through Sul Ross State’s defense.
