HILLS, MN (Dakota News Now) -The Patriots of Hills Beaver Creek are having another terrific season. In fact, they are ranked #1 in 9-man football in Minnesota.

The Pats will take on Edgerton in the 3rd round of the playoffs Friday night in Worthington.

They have been a fun team to watch for the fans and also to coach for the guy in charge, Rex Metzger.

Rex Metzger, HBC Football Coach says, ”You know the great part abpout this group is they love playing together. They love playing the game of football, they just love that process of getting better. But they just really don’t care who’s scoring touchdowns, they don’t care who the ball is going to. They just want to win football games and I think that makes this group pretty special."
