The Toronto Blue Jays are just one win away from baseball glory.

Led by Trey Yesavage’s record-setting performance on the mound, the Blue Jays picked up a 6-1 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers to take a 3-2 World Series lead on Wednesday night.

Yesavage, 22, pitched seven innings of one-run ball while recording 12 strikeouts — the most by a rookie in any World Series game. He wasn’t the only one to make history, however, as Davis Schneider and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. etched their name in baseball lore with back-to-back home runs to start the game, the first time that’s happened in the Fall Classic.
