A family is haunted by loss after one of their prized Halloween decorations, amongst others, was stolen overnight from their Talmadge home.
Halloween is a spooktacular affair for neighbors Nick Duckro and John Hermann.
“I've been doing this for 15 years, so it's great,” Hermann said. "Halloween's almost kind of my Christmas."
“It’s a fun little thing to give back and also sort of to be, like, a big kid ourselves," Duckro said.
But this Halloween, there's a little less terror on Monroe Avenue. Hermann says thieves swiped his wife's prized, super-sized skeleton.
They say it cost them hundreds of dollars and is no longer available. Hermann noticed the theft before heading to work.
“I walked out here, and I'm like, 'Wait a minute. Something's not right. This guy is gone,'" Hermann said.
