Harassing communication: Beta Drive

A business in the 700-block reported Oct. 21 that they were receiving concerning messages from a man who had applied for a job.

They said that the man applied online and then showed up for an interview on the wrong day at the wrong time. The interview was rescheduled but the man came three hours late and they did not have time to meet with him.

Since that time, they said that he was repeatedly emailing them, demanding $15 in gas money for wasting his time.

Officers are attempting to contact the Madison man, 59, to advise him to cease all communication with the business.
