Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw (22) reacts after Game 5 of the 2025 MLB World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, California, on Oct. 29, 2025.

LOS ANGELES — Clayton Kershaw's time as a player at Dodger Stadium has come to an end.

The veteran pitcher spent time on the field with family and friends to help take in the stadium one last time as an active player. Kershaw spent all 18 years of his career with Los Angeles.

The Dodgers lost Game 5 of the World Series to the Toronto Blue Jays 6-1 on Wednesday.

He did not play in the game, instead having his final moment on the mound Monday.

Kershaw pitched in Game 3, inheriting a bases-loaded situation and was tasked with closing out the 12th inning of what became an 18-inning game. He forced Nathan Lukes to ground out with a 3-2 count.

Kershaw announced his decision to retire in the final days of the regular season.

While his time at Dodger Stadium has come to a close, he will join the team in Toronto for Game 6 on Friday, Oct. 31.
