Barbara (Barb) Jean Bolton, age 91, of L’Anse, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, at Bayside Village L’Anse, surrounded by her loving family. She had been a resident at Bayside for one year.

Barb was born on March 2, 1934, in Skanee, the daughter of Russell and Helvi (Toyras) Johnson. She graduated from L’Anse High School with the class of 1952.

On Aug. 29, 1953, Barb married the love of her life, Rodney J. Bolton in L’Anse. Together they shared 66 wonderful years of marriage before his passing in 2019. Shortly after marriage they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to start their lives together. Barb worked at Cutler Hammer in Milwaukee for four years.
