The latest series of Netflix's fantasy adaptation, The Witcher, is beginning to encounter similar issues as the later series of Game of Thrones, a show it has always sought to emulate.

Despite significant fan worry, the main issue isn't the introduction of Liam Hemsworth. The Australian actor finally makes his much-anticipated debut as Geralt of Rivia, taking over from fan favourite Henry Cavill.

Cavill, known for his role as Superman, was a well-known enthusiast of the books penned by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski and the video game interpretation by developer CD Projekt Red.
