WEST LAFAYETTE — Halloween will pass before Purdue football takes the field at Michigan Saturday night.

As the calendar turns though, a nightmare November awaits the Boilermakers .

Purdue, in the midst of a six-game losing streak , travels to No. 21 Michigan before closing out its season vs. No. 1 Ohio State, at Washington (just outside the top 25 currently) and vs. No. 2 Indiana.

It's a daunting schedule for anyone, but even more so for a team that desperately needs something positive to hang its hat on in the first year under a mostly new coaching staff.
