Srinagar, Oct 30: The issue about the continuous suspension of government advertisements to the Greater Kashmir newspaper echoed in the Legislative Assembly for the second consecutive day.

Speaking in the House, PDP MLA from Pulwama said the that Greater Kashmir newspaper being the largest circulated newspaper doesn’t figure in the list for distribution of the government advertisements.

“Under the new media policy, there is no equal distribution of advertisements to newspapers. The issue needs to be reviewed,” he told the House.

He said the chief minister Omar Abdullah being the information minister must address the issue to ensure equal distribution t Newspapers.
