Puttur, Oct 30: RSS leader Dr Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat has received temporary relief once again in the case filed against him for allegedly delivering a provocative hate speech. The fifth additional district and sessions court in Puttur, which had earlier directed that no coercive action, including arrest, be taken against him, upheld the order and adjourned the hearing to November 4.
The case pertains to an alleged speech delivered by Dr Bhat during the ‘Deepotsava’ event held at Uppalige in Puttur taluk on October 20, organised as part of the Diwali celebrations. It was alleged that in his speech, he made remarks that hurt religious sentiments, insulted women, and incited hatred among different religious communities.
