WA Police believe a ute that ploughed into a van in West Perth on Monday, killing an Australia Post employee, could have collided with another car before the fatal crash.
In a new statement on Thursday, WA Police said they believed the Isuzu D Max may have been in involved in an earlier collision with a Suzuki Vitara.
No injuries were reported from the earlier crash.
The suspected collision came before the ute crashed into a van on Hay Street around 7am on Monday with the force of the impact sending both vehicles into an office building.
Australia Post worker and much-loved grandmother Theena Barton was delivering mail when the crash happened.
The 74-year-old was critically injured and died at the scene.
