Hello, Princeton University Art Museum! Haven't seen you for years.
But — can this be the little museum that used to greet campus visitors? My, how you've grown!
In point of fact, the brand-new Princeton University Art Museum , which is opening to the general public with a gala 24-hour open-house on Oct. 31, is twice as big as the old one that was torn down in 2021.
But even that doesn't convey the scale and scope of the new venue — now the second biggest footprint on the Princeton University campus, and very much intended as a public, not merely university, attraction.
